-==== Biography ====
-Roian Los was born on Betazed to Torrin Edine-Los and Koral Los in 2363. He is the twin of Ria who was born shortly after him.
-Roian and Ria were born at the tail end of what one could consider the most peaceful of times in the Federation. Soon after, the Federation began going through a series of troubling events; the Borg of 2366, the Dominon War of 2373 to 2375, the resurgence of the Borg in 2381 and finally the Typhon Pacts of 2382 and the death of the Federation President soon after.
-These periods played havoc on the Los family. Torrin, a Starfleet officer and combat engineer served in the Dominion War and died in 2374 when Roian and Ria were only eleven years of age. Betazed annexed that same year. At the beginning of the Dominion War, Koral and Torrin decided to move the kids to Earth where they assumed they would be safe. Koral, being a diplomatic envoy for Betazed was able to use her diplomatic ties to gain safe passage to Earth and find housing.
-They lived in Paris, France from 2373 to 2375 and moved to SpaceDock after the Breen attacked Earth; finding safety aboard the station.
-Roian and Ria had a difficult upbringing with the constant shifting and moving. They were raised in the ambassador facilities on Earth and on SpaceDock and did much of their schooling there. It was on SpaceDock where they learned mental disciplining along with advanced education for Betazoids.
-As the war died down, Koral became even more busy as her duties switched from Envoy for Betazed to Diplomatic officer for the Federation; tasked with reestablishing treaties within the Federation worlds.
-The twins were then raised by their nanny, Alexa; sister to Koral. In 2381, Roian had just turned eighteen and passed the entrance exams for the Academy to follow in the footsteps of his father. Ria joined a prominent university on Earth to follow in the footsteps of their mother. Then the Borg attacked. Helplessly, Roian listened to the news as world after Federation world was destroyed and the toll of dead or missing climbed.
-Shaken, but not deterred, Roian pushed through the four years at the academy; training in Command and Leadership, Unrestricted Line and Security.

-The Los familial has a rich history of political, ambassadorial, diplomatic and military services to Betazed and the United Federation of Planets. The family history can be traced back to before Betazed joined the Federation in 2273. The Los family belongs to the Ruling Houses of Betazed as the Los House.
